About WPA
Wireless Protected Access (WPA/WPA2) offers the most advanced type of security for wireless networks. Your router is currently using the WPA2 security.
Authentication
The WPA key is required every time a new device joins the network. Devices must re-authenticate after a firmware upgrade.
- The WPA key refers to your Wi-Fi password/passphrase.
- The WPA key is printed under your ARRIS™ wireless router.
- If the WPA key is lost, the router must be reset.
- To reset the router, press and hold the reset button on the device for 30 seconds.
